I’m super excited to be testing out the Eventus bedding and working with the Eventus brand. I’ve been using their bedding for the last few weeks and so far I’m very impressed. Produced in Cambridgeshire, the Eventus bedding is made using FSC® certified timber which also comes from a sustainable source. This bedding is produced from kiln dried timber and it has small flakes , I’ve also found it’s super absorbent. It’s definitely been put too the test with Tess who is a very wet mare, I found I was constantly adding bedding as it just wasn’t absorbing enough, where as since using Eventus I’ve been adding less as it’s been absorbing more. Which for me is definitely something I look for when shopping around for bedding as there’s nothing worse than a bedding that doesn’t absorb enough. My local country store has bales starting at £8.40 a bale... where as Eventus have bales starting at just £4.69 !!! ~ ~ BALE TYPES The Eventus bedding comes in different graded depending on size and quality. Also 36 bales come on each pallet.
Grade D : The grade D bedding is pure sawdust which is ideal for poultry and livestock. This bedding is highly absorbent meaning it’s perfect for damp environments. From £4.69
Easy handle grade B : One of my favourite grade bales due to its smaller size, making it perfect for limited storage space and for stay away shows is the grade B bales. Due to its smaller size it’s ideal for our smaller fury friends, I’ve been using mine for my mini Shetlands stable. However the grade B bale is also handy for when topping up beds when you don’t need a full bale. From £5.09
Easy handle grade A : The grade A bales have small flakes and are dust free, making them ideal for sensitive horses prone to respiratory problems. This grade bale is a smaller size making it perfect for limited storage space, stay away shows and our smaller fury friends. The grade A shavings are highly absorbent offering the highest level of comfort and health for your animals. From £5.89
Grade B : This grade B bale is full size and has a small proportion of sawdust added which increases the absorbency making it suitable for use in damp conditions. From £5.69
Grade A : The grade A bale is dust free small flaked, making it perfect for sensitive horses prone to respiratory problems, providing a highly absorbent attractive bedding to ensure you horses have the best comfort and health. From £6.69
Grade A eucalyptus :
The Eucalyptus scent is what drew me to Eventus bedding, because scented bedding isn’t something you come across very often. The grade A eucalyptus bedding has all the same properties as the standard grade A bales but with the added eucalyptus. I’ve been using these bales myself for the past few weeks and the smell is instant as soon as you open the packaging. Eucalyptus has lots of benefits, the most prominent being support of the respiratory system. Something that is very important for me when looking for bedding due to Blue having copd. From £7.19

Overall I’m super impressed with Eventus bedding and have already had a pallet delivered of the Eucalyptus scent bales.
